Commercial Sewing Background

FTS Commercial Sewing originally traded for a quarter of a century as Fleetwood Industrial Sack Company, manufacturing industrial sacks and fabric items for distribution locally and nationwide.

With the demise of the coal industry the company was taken over by FTS Group in 1988 and our time-served staff (some of which are still with us today) diversified into other areas, mainly the aircraft industry dealing with BAE Systems and their agents.

Design Services

We can provide the full design service from concept to 2D or 3D drawing with our specialist graphic design department. Our designers work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure the product is made to the customers exacting
measurements.

Silk Screen Printing

We stencil or print your logo or design on to any product. This is either done in house for smaller jobs or by our partners for high volume print work enabling us to stay very competitive on pricing.

Sewing and Assembly

Our production involves cutting, stitching, radio and heat welding as well as machine and hand sewing on all types of fabric. We can work from client drawings or provide a measure, design and manufacture service. Our team then manage the various processes around our workloads to offer the quick turnaround’s and flexibility while still keeping our level of quality.

We have many of our regular items in stock so can offer immediate dispatch to keep your project moving.

Frame Bending and Tube Assembly

When products require support frames eg windsocks, they are shaped and finished from a large range of aluminum and stainless steel stock. This will be built in at the design stage and produced by a dedicated team so will not hold up your production schedule.
